Welcome to the Alameda Yacht Club.
The Alameda Yacht Club is a private, non-profit corporation located in Historic Fortman Marina which was once home to the Alaska Packers Fishing Company in the early 1900's. Our Club, founded in 1985, is an all volunteer organization and offers its members a wide variety of boating and related activities that include group cruise-outs to interesting destinations, and organized sail boat racing. We are an active member of the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Assoc. (PICYA) and participate in many of their sponsored events throughout the year. Our Clubhouse, which has a full bar, a commercial style kitchen, and a large deck overlooking the marina, affords our members and guests a comfortable and friendly meeting place for a variety of parties and social activities. We invite you to visit us and let us show you around the friendliest club on the Bay!

AYC does Friday Night Dinners!
Being in charge of cooking a "FND" is one of the many enjoyable benefits of membership at AYC. Cooking can be a most creative, fun and satisfying experience. Imagine spending several hours with a team of people you enjoy and creating a meal that is enjoyed by the members of our Club! If you are new to the Club, preparing a "FND" is a great way to get to know some of our members. The attendance at AYC's "FND's" has grown and is now a very popular event. Dinner prices are usually less that $10.00 and are sold to the first 40+ people that are present. If you would like to sign up to cook contact Tom Tazelaar.
Our Newsletter is published on a monthly basis around the first of each month. We welcome anyone to contribute articles and photos that would be of interest to our membership and to the boating community in general. For information contact the Newsletter Editor.
